Description Tony, who spent his high school days at Hilton College, said "I prefer it to writing lines or being gated. At least it's over and done with and the incident is forgotten. Some guys really need caning. I know, I did at times. And it does make you think twice about stepping out of line next time." "But I don't think indiscriminate powers of caning should be given to prefects. Some of them don't know how to handle authority and the power they have over younger boys goes to their heads. Only headmasters and housemasters should be allowed to cane boys."
